Today we’d like to feature one of our bloggers in Italy who has kindly tested and reviewed our Eye Contour Gel. Tinkles Makeup has utilised our product for some time and now she is ready to share her view with you.

It’s a pleasure for me to collaborate with Petit Jardin again. We collaborated in the past and their products have good quality and they perform well. That’s why I was really happy to try the eye contour cream with aloe vera, hyaluronic gel and wine extract.
The under eye area is one of the first parts where aging shows, the skin is very sensitive so it’s prone to suffer expression lines. It’s important to keep the area moisturised and to use a good eye contour cream, that way you’ll minimise the lines and aging won’t be that visible.
The eye contour cream I received is a part of the anti-aging line, specific for mature skin and for early aging prevention. Let’s see how the product is described: an extraordinary product specific to the eyes area, it protects the skin from pollution and makeup application. Emollient and moisturising, it tones the eyes and reduces the signs of skin aging. The eye contour area is a delicate and sensible thin layer of skin, sometimes even a thorough skincare routine is not enough to effectively protect it from the daily aggressions of external and internal stress factors. Being constantly exposed to the elements, it is highly vulnerable and tends to be the first area that shows the signs of aging, such as dark spots and wrinkles.
To effectively combat these issues, Petit Jardin Milano created Eye Contour Gel; with a selection of certified organic ingredients, blended in an exclusive formula specially designed to reinforce the skin’s natural defenses against external aggressors.
The Pure Aloe Vera Gel offers a soothing and moisturising effect while the presence of Hyaluronic Acid performs an immediate lifting action. On the top of this, Grape Seed Extract strongly protects the body from potential damage caused by free radicals.
This product is suitable for mature skins and can be used by all skin types.
INDICATIONS FOR USE: apply a small dosage on the tip of your index or middle finger and tap gently but constantly around the eyes. But make sure that you avoid the inner part of the eyes. Repeat if necessary until you cover all the area of both eyes. The light texture of the Eye Contour Gel makes it absorbed fast with immediate visible results. The price is €39,00 for 30 ml.
What I like : I like the packaging because it comes with a pump, which is hygiene and prevents any waste of product. I also love the colour of the gel and I find it relaxing. It feels fresh when I apply it and my skin immediately feels tighter and toned and the feeling lasts for quite a while.
The gel is very easy to apply as it’s not too thick and I really need very small amount for both eyes. I tap it with my fingers and it gets absorbed really fast, non-greasy and very light. It reduces puffiness and makes my eyes look more “alive” if we can say so. I’ve noticed that my skin texture has improved by using it constantly. It becomes toned and firm and overall, it looks younger.
What I don’t like: It has flowery smell though I don’t mind because I’m not over sensitive to fragrances, but it could be too strong for some people. I love the cool feeling but not everybody might love it as it’s pretty intense and long lasting.
My verdict: It’s definitely a good quality eye contour cream that does what it promises and results are visible if you use it on an everyday basis. It’s quite expensive, I’m not going to lie, but I would still purchase it because I love the texture and I love how my skin looks. It’s definitely great to keep your eyes area smooth, young and firm!
